Afghanistan: RAF Handley­ Page bombs Kabul (4 hits on royal palace). Afghan ground counter-attack on May 26.
Britain: ­Food exports to Germany allowed via Allies and neutrals.
Western Russia: Whites take Pskov, securing base area outside Estonia.
South Russia: ­Denikin retakes Mariupol on Sea of Azov. CIGS cables Milne that British troops to evacuate Caucasus, Italians to replace.
Siberia: Reds re­occupy Sterlitamak.
