Italian troops surrender
Italian troops surrender to one of Wavell’s ‘Thirty Thousand’.
Diary for Friday, February 7, 1941:

North Africa

BRITISH CAPTURE BENGHAZI. Italians surrender to Wavell‘s forces.
Free French under Leclerc with air support besiege Kufra Oasis, important Italian garrison town and air base in southern Libya.
