 Russian defenders of Moscow
The Russian defenders and mainly ‘general winter’ are stopping the German offensive on Moscow.

Eastern Front

Operation Barbarossa: German offensive stalls only 30 km from Moscow.

East Africa

Ethiopia: 20,000 Italian troops surrender at Gondar. Liberation of Ethiopia completed.
