General Hideki Tojo
General Hideki Tojo (1884-1948), Japanese Prime Minister since October 18, 1941 and Chief of General Staff (nick-named Lamasori = ‘The Razor’). Took Japan into war against USA and British Empire in December 1941. Failure to prevent US forces capturing Saipan Islands compelled him to resign on 18 July, 1944. Hanged December 23, 1948 by International Military Tribunal at Tokyo.
