Northern Sector – Great Russian offensive into Baltic States: 2nd BF attacks northwest of Vitebsk (July 10); 3rd BF attacks near Pskov (July 17); Leningrad Front attacks at Narva (July 26).


New Guinea: Japanese launch counter-offensive across river Driniumor, in Aitape sector (night July 10-11).
