German soldiers somewhere in France are waiting for their home transport and can not resist the temptation of a snowball fight.
Diary for Saturday, December 7, 1940:

Air War

No raids on Britain, either by day or night – first such 24-hour period since August 7. RAF night raid on Düsseldorf (repeated December 8-9).
