Halifax bombing-up
A British night bomber Handley Page Halifax is loaded with 1,000lb bombs.

Germany: 213 RAF bombers attacking Berlin and dropping 587t of bombs.

Sea War

Atlantic: Crew of German blockade-runner Regensburg immolate themselves when intercepted by HMS Glasgow in Denmark Strait (6 survivors).
