Sea War

Pacific – Operation Kongo: 6 Japanese submarines launch Kaiten torpedoes against Allied naval bases in Central Pacific (1 landing craft, 1 munition ship damaged).
North Sea: British squadron inflicts heavy damage on German convoy off South Norway.
